Comprehensive
Research Report on Tien Hsien Liquid’s Ability to Remove Free-Radicals
The purpose
of removing free-radicals is to lower the deleterious side effects
to the body and achieve anti-cancer efficacy. All Chinese herbal medicines
have claimed to be able to lower certain types of free radicals; nevertheless,
the research data for confirmation has always been lacking. The above
research has confirmed that Tien Hsien Liquid does have an effect
on removing almost all types of free radicals.
Research
Content
Electron Spinning Resonance (ESR) and Chemical Luminescence were utilized
to study Tien Hsien Liquid’s ability in removing .OH produced
by aqueous solution systems, light-activated systems, and .O2 produced
from within the cells, thereby further providing the research and
theoretical basis for the therapeutic effect on Tien Hsien Liquid.
- Tien Hsien Liquid acts
on xanthine / oxyxanthine to produce superoxide anion elimination
and Tien Hsien Liquid’s SOD enhancement
- Tien Hsien Liquid stimulates
PMN to produce free radical removal.
- Tien Hsien Liquid reacts
with fenton reagent to produce .OH elimination.
- Tien Hsien Liquid produces
.O2 elimination with light-activated riboflavin.
- Tien Hsien Liquid acts
on over-oxidized linoleic acid to produce inhibition of conjugated
dienes.
- Tien Hsien Liquid acts
on over-oxidized lipids to produce inhibition of TBA reactants.
- Tien Hsien Liquid’s
ability in removing nitrosos.
Result
Tien Hsien Liquid can effectively remove the superoxide anion from
xanthine/oxyxanthine, the active free oxygen radical released through
macrophage respiratory burst, the superoxide anion produced from light-activated
riboflavin/EDTA, and the malondialdehyde from over-oxidized lipids
and over-oxidized nitrosos.
Its removing
ability far exceeds that of Vitamin E. While Vitamins C & E have
almost no effect in eliminating hydroxyl radical; Tien Hsien Liquid’s
C50 in hydroxyl radical elimination is 0.13mg/ml. From its onset,
the over-oxidized lipids produce conjugated dienes, and Tien Hsien
Liquid’s inhibitory effect on conjugated dienes is an important
factor for an antioxidant to inhibit over-oxidation of lipids, with
a result showing that 0.35mg/ml of Tien Hsien Liquid can inhibit 20%
of conjugated dienes.
